- This is just one of the aspects of living with or loving a BPD patient.
I know this sounds cocky, but I swear nothing can be as bad as living with
someone with BPD. These are the things that stand out the most, but it's
far from everything. There were nights I'd go to sleep wondering if she'd
try to kill me in my sleep. Many, many sleepless nights because she insisted
on arguing frivolous shit until daybreak. Three, maybe four times while
I was driving, she opened the passenger door and probably would have fallen/jumped
out had I not grabbed her. I had her committed once. That only lasted an
hour, the crazy bitch side of her knew not to act up in public.
She woke me up to tell me "I have a knife", that time was a suicide thing. Although I couldn't help but wonder if I may have been a target. This little 120lb woman had tried to strangle me twice. I used to work out for an hour five days a week, so my neck is fairly thick. It was very uncomfortable, but I knew she wasn't strong enough to choke me. I could still breathe, barely. I considered doing something, like hitting her with a frying pan that was within reach, but I didn't think the cops would believe me, so I was forced to endure it.
I thought she poisoned me a time or two, once she admitted it.
This is something I recently found out about, 17 year old Racheal Mullenix was convicted of killing her mother and is suspected of being BPD.
