- I'm guessing one of two things here, either a) you've got a house guest who has been diagnosed with BPD or you've used the term 'entertaining' like I have, where you feel it's necessary to keep a BPD patient occupied like you would a toddler. If it's the former, just act as you normally would around anyone else. If it's the latter, you're best bet is to encourage them to seek therapy.
