- BPD is no joke. Nightmare yes, joke no. April has often said something or done something that I thought was increadibly mean. Then she'll try to cover it up by saying "it was a joke" or "just teasing". I don't know why. I wish I did. I feel that at the moment she did or said that particular thing, she did intend to say it and then perhaps feels bad about it or more than likely, she knows she was very wrong, so she says it was a joke.
