- Maybe, maybe not. While BPD is a mental disorder, this is different than
schizophrenia or dementia. Let them go. Chasing them makes it worse, even when you're afraid they'll harm themselves, from
my experience.
Ultimately, you need to decide what to do, you know them, I don't.
