BPD, rejection, withdrawl and deafening silence (19)
What do you do when your BPD friend, significant other or spouse won't talk to you, stares off into space like they're a zombie, ignoring everything you say? Yet later on, will insist you ignored them the whole time?
I don't know.
I know that's not the answer you're looking for.
I've tried piling attention on April when she's in a "mood". I've tried ignoring her. I've tried talking to her as though nothing is wrong. I've fought with her. I've tickled her. I've stripped her naked and made love to her.
The last two sometimes work.
But not always.
I feel bad about forcing myself on her, the times when I've done that are only when the unbreakable chill have been because of a fight about not having sex often enough.
You don't know what to do and feel like you'll loose you mind if you don't do something. Often, doing something makes things no better and makes you feel worse.
This is part of the reason I started this site, so I could do something passively, with no fear of the extreme rejection you may know all too well.
