five hours and 20 minutes of sleep later, I go to work. I meet her and ask how her day went and she says everything was fine and nobody noticed her mistake she's been worried about since the previous morning. Oh, thank God. I can't take another day like that.

When I get home, she's still in a bad mood, bitching about going to work, threatening to quit. And she's pissed off at me for sending my friend a text message, why can't she stay out of my damn phone!

Once again, this IM conversation feels like it's going to dive and fast.

It's just an observation, but I realize that every Monday, April seems to think she really hates her job and needs to call in sick or quit. For various reasons, one co-workers a perv, one doesn't treat her like she wants, one asked her to work a different shift. I told her she needs to call the guy above her current boss and talk to him about these problems or they won't get resolved.

I didn't think it would take me this long to post this, so I forgot everything that happened. I wrote a short note about it thinking that I'd post it in the near future. Then I got behind and this is all I have.

Big city trip to get some of Grandma's stuff. Problems of course are that she didn't ask off because I didn't give her a firm enough answer (I swear I said yes), so we have to leave at 8:00 a.m. instead of something like the day before. Parking is a bitch when we stop for supplies, she insists that I'm driving too fast, to close to the curb/yellow line, gonna run over cars, don't realize how long it takes to stop in a moving truck. What a pain. I let her drive home, she was a nervous wreck. We got lost repeatedly. It's raining. Oh, and we have to unload this thing and return it by midnight or it's gonna cost an extra day's rental.

I meet my mom for lunch to get the money back from the truck rental/fuel and tolls. I have a dentist appointment after lunch, so it takes longer than normal. When April finds out, she's pissed because I normally can only spend 40 minutes or so with her when she meets me for lunch. I try to explain that the coincidental appointment I scheduled six months ago, happened to be on the same day as I was meeting my mom for lunch and that's why I could spend more time with her. Well I managed to get her off that subject by asking her when she's going to the dentist, she needs to go soon and she also needs to reschedule the OB-GYN appointment and she needs to go to some other doctor too, the optometrist I think.

Lately, April's been really irritable, somewhat withdrawn, and then other times she's perfectly normal. So I'm about to leave the office, an old friend is retiring, I stop in and say good bye, takes all of five minutes. On the way home, traffic is a little bad, but not as bad as other times and I need to pay the rent. I stop pay the rent, have a short chat with the landlord and go home. I got home about 15 minutes later than normal. Well, April's pretty pissed, she wants to know why I'm late, paying the rent doesn't take that long. I don't understand the big deal as usual. I tell her that my friend was retiring and today was his last day that I stopped in on the way home to say good bye. She's even more upset that I didn't tell her about it in advance, she would have sent him a card. I said, it's no big deal, it's not like he's moving, we'll see him again. Well, she decides that she doesn't want to talk to me any more about it, so I don't talk to her for the next two hours, then she goes to work and I'm glad I don't have to deal with her. Why does she always pull this shit after I've paid a large bill? Why can't she pull this kind of bullshit right before so I can tell her to go get fucked and pay her own shit?

It's the following day, I come home from work and start doing things that need to be done, like finding out why the lights on her car stopped working. I figure it out and start leaving her a note that I'm going to the junk yard and she gets up and tells me I need to stop making so much noise. She decides to rehash the whole thing, that I don't tell her anything. I tell her it's no big deal. She asks what else am I not telling her? I then tell her everything I did the previous day at work and I'm thinking I'll be an ass from now on, come home, tell her every minor event that went on with my job, that's boring as all get out. She says that she doesn't care about what I do that's part of my job, it's my job and that doesn't matter. My friend retiring is a big deal because she knew him too. Ah, what ever.
On top of that, she seems to think that I should have come home (at 6:00 a.m.) and woken her up for sex. I didn't. First off, I have this stuff that needs done. I told her that the junkyard closes at noon and I took a dump and I haven't gotten a shower and I thought that she'd be really tired if I woke her up. She says that's not good enough, I could have gotten a shower any time and woke her up. I tell her I'll wake her up when I get back.

I got the part, I didn't install it yet though.

We had to drop the bikes off at a storage location because it's obvious there'll be no riding until spring. I'm driving again, she's in the passenger seat, we're having a perfectly normal conversation. She looks at me and says "I'm having problems again". I think to myself "no shit, I've known this for months." So I ask her to tell me what's going on. She says that because a lot of guys hit on her at her job, that she seems to think that a lot of women hit on me. Yeah, that's a good laugh. The only way I could ever in my life get a pretty girl to give me the time of day was to do something for her like fix her car or buy her shit, or help her get rid of her abusive pretty-boy mansion up on the hill boyfriend's body. And once the last shovel of dirt was replaced, she was gone. I'm kidding about the last one, but really it took monumental steps to get women to pay attention to me, all I ever got were gold diggers and fat or crazy chicks. I don't tell her about the crazy chicks part. So I ask her what she wants to do about it. I ask her if she wants to make an appointment with the same people where Dr. D. worked (he moved out of the area, so we can't see him). She says she doesn't know. I tell her I'll call them and make an appointment.
